Dr. Mary-Frances O’Connoris an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Trainingin the Psychology Department. She directs the Grief, Loss and Social Stress Lab, studying the neurobiological, immune,and cardiovascular parametersthat vary between individual bereavement responses.She also studies prolonged grief disorder, a DSM-5-TR diagnosis thatis marked by intense, persistent and prolonged symptoms, including yearning and grief-related rumination.
