Kate Bessey is a Research Program Administration Officer in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Arizona’s Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. She joined the Student Aid for Field Epidemiology Response (SAFER) program in 2020, supporting statewide COVID-19 contact tracing efforts. Shortly thereafter, she also began contributing to the CoVHORT research study, which investigates the long-term impacts of COVID-19 among Arizona residents.
