Dr. Lindsay N. Kohler, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Promotion Sciences at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona. Dr. Kohler’s research interests include modifiable lifestyle factors such as nutrition and physical activity for health promotion and disease prevention. She is currently the recipient of a UAHS Career Development Award where she is investigating predictors of glycemic control as well as assessing adherence to renal dietary guidelines in diabetic patients with or at risk for chronic kidney disease within local Federally Qualified Health Centers. She is also evaluating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on food (in)security in this underserved population.
