Alexandra Shilen

Alexandra Shilen, MPH, is a Research Programs Administration Officer with the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at The University of Arizona College of Public Health. She has experience in clinical research and is a coordinator for the Student Aid for Field Epidemiology (SAFER) team at the University of Arizona which is conducting contact tracing for COVID-19 in the state of Arizona in addition to the CoVHORT research study.  She has a growing interest in emerging infectious diseases and chronic disease epidemiology, as well as women’s health and menstrual equity. She pairs her passion for public health and holistic wellness as both a practitioner and instructor of yoga and mindfulness.
